Given our expert knowledge of the financial services industry and our deep experience in developing technology solutions for innovative organizations, we were hired by the financial markets community to be their system implementation consultants. The focus of our work was to bring to life the leadership's vision of a vibrant, unique community focused on helping each other regardless of economic situation.

The Shimshock Group team worked closely with the client to design and implement a large-scale platform to support future growth that would strike a balance between whimsy and focus, and humor and seriousness. The results of our collaboration have been a resounding success. Daily readership is constantly on the rise, and content typically elicits hundreds of comments from the active subscribers. Many domain experts in areas such as energy, grains, precious metals, miners, and macro-economic analysis have become registered members and participate in discussions due to the ease of the onboarding processing. A creative rewards system was developed to foster positive feedback and recognize members and subscribers who add value. New features such as an online chat system, embedded financial charts, interactive comment filtering, and the ability to pay for subscriptions and donations through various payment options have increased value to members.
